Deidara is a character from the anime Naruto. In Naruto, he's a part of the "ambitious" (read as bad guy) organization called Akatsuki. Each member has specific and unique kinds jutsu (techniques) they use. Deidara is no exception with his explosive clay techniques. Using a hand-mouth in each palm to create explosive clay, he typically forms the clay into bird figures from a large bird he can ride to a small scouting bird. He also uses a small sort of scanner over his left eye to assist in his techinques. His explosive powers can range from one large enough to decimate an entire village to a small smoke explosion.
Deidara usually wears his long blonde hair in an oriental-style ponytail on top of his head, and he has blue eyes. When he speaks, some of the time he says "...Un (Yeah)." at the end of his sentences. Also, there is debate concerning his gender since neither the anime nor the manga have directly stated that he is a man. However, most of the Naruto community agrees that he is a man, so for this game I will assume as such.
In-Game Backround
A prestigious family in both the arts and sciences, the Seikous have a legacy that has existed for many generations. They have produced many of the most exquisite works of art displayed throughout the upper class world along with discovering some of the most revolutionary scientific theories in all worlds. Anything from painters to physicists to writers to biologists, this family has influenced the upper class world to its high aesthetic and technological standard.
However, with this phenomenal reputation comes great expectation. Whether or not the member is related by blood or marriage, the Seikous don’t tolerate incompetence; anyone who’s connected to them must be successful or that person will be disowned from the family never allowed any communication with them ever again.
The Seikous are easily distinguished from anyone else by their unique hairstyle and rings. Each member of the family pulls some of their hair into a long ponytail on top of their head in an oriental style, but they are allowed to style the rest of their hair any way they like. Also, each member of the family possesses a silver ring bearing the kanji for green (Sei) surrounded by a red sphere.
The son of a sculptor and chemist, Deidara has inherited the skills of both his mother and father. Since he was young, he observed his mother in awe as she created explosive chemical reactions, and as his father brought to life elegant figures from just plain clay. One day, an idea occured to the blonde: explosive clay. It would be a wonderfully successful weapon within the military not to mention the enjoyment he would have from creating it. Unfortunately, Deidara has yet to complete a perfect batch of this clay, hence he devotes almost all of his time to its development.
At this time, Deidara lives in his own mansion; most of his time is spent in the basement working on his explosive clay. However, as a born conesseur of art and science he visits museums and art galleries sporatically to observe new themes -- sometimes drawing inspiration from the projects he views. If he's not doing either of those things, he has a slight dendancy to wander around from place to place observing the happenings of the upper world. Though his research is the most important thing, he does like to get out sometimes.
